Abstract
This paper explores an experiential approach to developing AI literacy among non-technical business students in Information Systems education. As demand for AI-related skills grows, there is an increasing need to equip students to understand, use, and critically evaluate AI technologies. Addressing this need, the study investigates how the visual, code-free tool Orange can support applied AI learning. An exploratory case study was conducted within an undergraduate AI for Business module at a UK business school, where Orange was integrated into workshop-based activities grounded in experiential learning theory. Preliminary qualitative insights from student feedback and classroom observations indicate enhanced engagement, confidence, and conceptual understanding of AI processes. The findings suggest that visual, interactive tools can effectively demystify AI for non-technical learners. The study contributes to ongoing discussions on innovative pedagogies for advancing AI literacy in business and IS education.
