Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been highlighted as the next wave of improved labor force productivity. The focus to date has been on the use of AI to improve outcome productivity. The purpose of this experiment is to assess the use of AI for learning at speed. The experiment and use of Generative AI (GenAI) is based on a simple process of survey creation to assess AI use in the research process. The designed experiment evaluates whether GenAI can increase the Speed of Learning with respect to survey creation tasks. The experiment includes four repetitive prompts used to create the survey. The initial prompt created the initial survey with each subsequent prompt enhancing survey results. The GenAI initial survey creation process lasted less than 2 hours. Learning of the survey creation process includes whether the resulting survey: 1) met the author’s goals, and 2) achieved the speculative outcome of this experiment.
