Abstract
The purpose of this panel is to share opportunities for academic professionals to participate in Society for Information Management (SIM) activities, projects, and research initiatives. There are many ways to get involved, and this panel will give you an opportunity to learn about these activities. These activities include: the MISQE Special Issues, the SIM Best Paper Competition, Real-World Projects Research, the Impact of GenAI on IT Professionals’ Focus Groups, Critical Skill Sets in Cybersecurity Research, the SIM IT Trends Study, SIM SIG Work 4.0, SIM SIG Digi Risk, SIM SIG Rethink Everything, and SIM SIG Enterprise Architecture.
