Abstract
Drawing on survey data from a global software company in study phase 1, this paper examines how the perceived value of Daily Stand-up Meetings (DSMs) relates to project success, psychological safety, team cohesion, and conflict management. While no direct link between DSMs and project success was found, the results highlight DSMs’ positive associations with psychological safety and team cohesion, which in turn correlate with improved project outcomes. These findings suggest DSMs contribute more to interpersonal dynamics than directly to project performance, emphasizing their value as a relational tool rather than a performance driver. The study lays the groundwork for upcoming study phase 2 and guides future research.
