Abstract
Seamless learning supports the fluid nature of learning by seamlessly integrating experiences across diverse learning environments. Unlike the traditional, one-size-fits-all approach, seamless learning acknowledges individual learning differences and emphasizes” learning anytime, anywhere.” While generative AI (GenAI) tools can potentially support seamless learning by providing personalized learning experiences, they are prone to generating inaccurate information (hallucinations). To address the limitation, we developed ProfGPT, an innovative, domain-specific GenAI tool with an auto-assessment feature, and applied it to enhance seamless learning. Results from our comprehensive survey indicate ProfGPT’s positive impacts on students’ learning engagement and satisfaction.
