Abstract
Enrollment in Information Technology-related university programs is a concern given the reported shortage of qualified workers. Logistic Regression analysis can model which students will choose to major and ultimately graduate in an IT discipline. Furthermore, taking IT/computing courses while still enrolled in high school is shown to be important predictors of matriculating in these fields. Gender is also found to have an influence.
