Abstract
The use of computer-based testing (CBT) in instructional efforts at colleges and universities is becoming more widespread. CBT offers capabilities beyond just the simple scoring of tests and have expanded their use into other areas of teaching and assessment. However, CBT may create pitfalls for instructors and high anxiety for students. This study will help provide a better understanding of how individual personality and test design affect CBT anxiety and test performance.
