Center for Research on Electronic Commerce: Current Research


Over the years CREC has been active in research areas such as Electronic Commerce and Social Network. The book "Frontiers of E-Commerce", published in 1996, and the subsequent book "The Economics of Electronic Commerce", published in 1997, were among the earliest introduction to a field that has both grown rapidly and evolved radically over time. In this webinar we will introduce some of CREC's current research topics, including social media advertising, sentiment manipulation, information security, electronic networks of practice, app economy, and self promotion.
