Abstract

E-government is a quite new phenomenon. There are many different views and perspectiveson what this phenomena embraces. This study gives a view on e-government by investigating what hasbeen researched in the context of e-government. There are only a few studies available that looked atwhat has been done in scientific research streams. The available studies all give their view on e-governmentresearch, based on different methods. The studies all have different scopes and used differentmethods, and all of the studies seemed to have their limitations. By clustering and comparing thedifferent views on e-government research, the different limitations are being overcome and a morecomprehensive view on e-government research is being given.
