Numerous experiments have been conducted in the field of e-learning. This article deals with one of the longest standing experiments that has been in progress for ever 8 years now and focuses upon a complete French degree course namely the DUT in company management. In light of this experiment, the article aims to show that to implement e-learning requires a change of logic in the learning process. It also provides a list of pertinent factors which, coupled with ICT, will ensure a successful completion of this distance learning course.
