The goal of this work is to describe a specific class of actors from the "Libre" movement, ie the firms having commercial offers based on free software. The study, realized in France, consists on a 2Q 2002 survey which has received 140 answers. Three types of behavior appear, and we propose an analysis of this competiting structure based on former works realized on the topic.
