Monnaie, Typologie des Systèmes de Paiement Electronique et enjeux bancaires
Abstract
With the development of ICT, several electronic payment systems have been set up to the initiativ e of banks and non banking institutions. These systems are entitled at the same time of "electronic money", "electronic payment solutions", "electronic payment services", "e-cash", "electronic payment protocol" according to the use of the technologies. In this perspective, all attempts to investigate these systems are unclear otherwise perilous. The present paper proposes to define and to analyse the whole of electronic payment systems in order to grasp the dynamics of the phenomena and to circumscribe the banking stakes.
