This year, we received a total of 383 submissions from authors in 45 countries. There were 178 authors from Australia, 119 from Taiwan, 74 from China, and 66 from Germany. For the first premier AIS conference to be held in Vietnam, these numbers are very positive. This is the second highest number of submissions to a PACIS conference in history. The most popular tracks this year were: Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology (28 submissions), Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence (25 submissions), Human Behavior and Information Systems (24 submissions), and Electronic and Mobile Commerce (24 submissions).
After a thorough review process involving the 57 track chairs of our 25 tracks (see list below), and 340 reviewers (including associate editors for some tracks), a total of 130 regular papers and 51 research-in-progress papers were accepted for the conference. Every paper was peer reviewed in a process that typically involved two blind reviews and a final recommendation from a track chair. The overall acceptance rate was 47.2% for both Regular and Research-in-progress papers. All 181 papers are included in the Proceedings, which are available from both the AIS Library and the PACIS Proceedings library (http://www.pacis-net.org/). Full papers, research-in-progress (RIP) papers, and RIP-formatted doctoral consortium papers (the latter for students who consented to publication of their papers) are included in these Proceedings.
