Abstract

The Internet has become essential to many aspects of our daily lives today. While evolution is expected, the evolution of the internet is taking new and unexpected turns. While social media and networking are popular, organizations are slow in adopting the facets of the internet that allow the two-way communication that Web 2.0 facilitates. Web 3.0 is an evolutionary progression of Web 2.0 technologies, and it is coming whether we are ready or not. We explore the evolution and look to the disinclination of business to adopt the potential it offers.
